Learn to sew in a fun and inviting environment. This class is ideal for Kids with no sewing experience. You will leave knowing how to operate a machine, sew straight stitches, and make a small pillow.

Location: The Sandbox, 70 Audubon Street, 2nd Floor (between Whitney Avenue and Orange Street) - New Haven, CT 06510
You will learn to:
- Wind a bobbin
- Thread a sewing machine
- Safely operate a sewing machine
- Sew basic machine stitches
- Make a small pillow
What’s included?
- 2 hours of in-person sewing instruction
- Use of sewing machine during class
- Materials for practicing
Minimum Enrollment: 3
Maximum Enrollment: 5
For Stitchers ages 8-14 years old.
Note: If minimum enrollment is not met, you will be given the option to upgrade to private/ semi-private lessons or receive a refund for your registration less a $4.50 processing fee.
