    Excellent class

Mrs. Newsome is a through and meticulous instructor. There is no guess work on what to do and how to do it. She works at your speed whilst accommodating fellow students, and keeping a steady pace in the class. Her presentation of materials for the students is well thought out and laid out perfectly. I would recommend this class to teens and adults. I look forward to taking other classes with her.

    Great Instructor, and Class!!!!

I have never sewn before, so it was challenging setting the machine up, but Ceresa was very patient with me. Very shaky in the beginning, but the braking and stepping on the gas pedal became easier as I drove. Sorry for the driving reference, but it felt like that a little as well as turning the left and right on the corners LOL, when I was 16yrs old. No but all jokes aside, I am ready to get my own machine to just practice and sew. Thank you, Ceresa!! Will be taking more classes for sure!

    Terrific class!!

This was such a great class—I hadn't used a machine in years, and what little confidence I did have was a bit shaky. Ceresa is a terrific instructor, and I was able to not only feel better about what I did know, but I picked up a lot of new skills, as well.

I will definitely be taking more classes!!

    Informative and entertaining

Ceresa is warm and welcoming. I have been very intimidated to start sewing and now I feel inspired! She makes sewing feel accessible. She not only explained how her machines worked, but also how other machines may differ. We covered all the basic functions and I now feel confident to continue practicing.

I look forward to taking more classes (hopefully a class making pants!!!).
