Summer Sewing Camp FAQs
1. Who can attend the Summer Sewing Camp?
Our camp is open to children aged 8-14 who have an interest in sewing. All experience levels are welcomed.
2. What will campers learn during the program?
Campers will learn the basics of sewing, including how to operate a sewing machine, sew different stitches, and create various projects. They will also learn about fabric selection, cutting techniques, and finishing touches.
3. What projects will campers work on?
Campers will have the opportunity to work on various projects, such as tote bags, hats, pillows, and simple garments using basic pattern making techniques. The projects are designed to be achievable for beginners while allowing room for creativity.
4. What is the cost of the Summer Sewing Camp?
The cost of the camp is $638 per camper, which includes all materials and supplies needed for the projects. Payment is required at the time of registration.
5. What is the schedule for the Summer Sewing Camp?
The camp runs from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Each day, campers will engage in hands-on sewing activities, receive instruction from our expert instructors, and work on their projects.
Extended day (3:00pm - 5:30pm) is offered for an additional fee of $240.00.
6. Is there a refund policy for the Summer Sewing Camp?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for the Summer Sewing Camp. However, if a camper is unable to attend, we can transfer their registration to other classes, subject to availability.
